Private Lake that`s perfect for a group or quiet getaway for two.
This charming rental features both the old and new. Nested along Lions Lake (near Long Lake), this cabin is being completely remodeled, yet leaving behind some of the original charm and nostalgia from past guests. If walls could talk.
Photo's will be updated as they're being made available. A new well is being installed as soon as the beavers are done building their dam, as nature seems to be holding up the remodel as bit. Oh, the history behind this family cabin.
The cabin may be completed by the fall 2017, so if you're interested in potentially renting during that time, please let us know. The calendar will open up as soon as the cabin is complete and ready to go!
*NOTE: We require our signed Rental Agreement before your arrival date along with a valid credit card for incidentals / damages.
Main floor living with pine interior. The cabin has two bedrooms; one bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds, and the other bedroom features two twin beds that may also be converted to a king size bed. Please let your reservationist know which option you would prefer so we can have it set up for you prior to your arrival. There is a full size bathroom with a tub/shower and all of your linens are provided for your convenience. The living area and dining area flow together for a nice open space for gathering, and a sofa sleeper is available for additional accommodations. The kitchen is being completely updated and has new appliances. Enjoy views of the lake from the kitchen as well as the occasional sounds of both nature and wildlife. A sliding door is located off of the living area that takes you under a covered porch. Simple, relaxing and a place to escape!
Located on Lions Lake (private lake); which is a smaller 40 acre lake. Fantastic place for fishing pike, perch and blue gill. You bet there's a fishing dock and a row boat to use. The cabin itself is nestled in the middle of 500 acres that is privately owned. A charcoal and gas grill are both provided for grilling up your fresh catch of the day, as the charcoal grill allows you to smoke your fish in many varieties. Plenty of parking available (did I even need to say that).

Looking to golf? Perfect area for that! Fantastic golf courses surround Traverse City. Fishing? Look no further. Shopping? How about a large mall, outlet mall, and amazing local shops to find that special treasure. The dining is also fabulous, and we have amazing local chefs that prepare meals that you'll want to tell your friends and family about (as you're looking out at the reflection of the water, or dining by sunset).
