This cottage is a dream come true! Situated on Birch Lake with private frontage, a sandy beach as well as a sandy bottom. Enjoy your own private dock for your boat, or rent one through us. The large firepit is perfect for roasting marshmellows and relaxing to the sounds of the waves upon the beach.

This cottage is a NEW rental added to our company, and we're thrilled to be able to offer it to our guests. Many dates are still available at this time, but hurry...this cottage will fill quickly!

Interior:

Enjoy the ranch style living, and newly renovated interior. This 3 bedroom cottage features two bedrooms with queen size beds, and the third bedroom houses a set of twin bunkbeds...AND may be able to convert to a king size bed if needed. An additional rollaway bed is also available for additional sleeping, and fits nicely in the third bedroom. The cottage has one full bath, as well as a half bath. Linens and towels are provided for your convenience. A large table is situated in the kitchen area, and the galley kitchen is fully stocked with more than you need for cooking. The kitchen includes a brand new stove, a dishwasher, coffe maker, microwave and more...you're set! The livingroom has new flooring and new paint that leaves the space feeling very open and well as clean. Enjoy looking out the large windows at the Lake while playing one of the many board games provided kindly by the owners.

Exterior:

The beach is private, sandy and approximately 50 feet long and 15 feet deep. This is a perfect place for small children to build sand castles! Birch Lake is an all sports lake that is about 326 acres in size, and pretty warm already for swimming. The bottom of the lake is sandy and there are no drop off's to be concerned with for small children. There is a private dock at the home to use for your boat as well. A large fire pit overlooks the lake, and surrounded by creatively covered tree stump stools....comfortable and ideal for roasting smores in the evening. The back deck that sits off of the cottage has plenty of seating for outside picnics, and there's a charcoal grill available for use as well.

Additional services that may be added would be a personal chef, daily (or every 2 days) housekeeping/turn down service, transportation/limousine, private spa services at the home, yacht rentals, and/or any additional services requested. The area hosts many activities; including the National Cherry Festival and other local festivals, Michael Moore's Film Festival, arts and craft shows, concerts in the park, casino's, wineries, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes (a must), performances at the widely acclaimed Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Opera House; you're certain to stay busy.

Enjoy fishing charter boats, catamaran sunset cruises, parasailing (for those who are brave), jetski rentals, hot air balloon rides, our local markets, cherry picking (and other fruits depending upon the season), and hiking trails.

Looking to golf? Perfect area for that! Fantastic golf courses surround Traverse City. Fishing? Look no further. Shopping? How about amazing local shops to find that special treasure. The dining is also fabulous, and we have amazing local chefs that prepare meals that you'll want to tell your friends and family about (as you're looking out at the reflection of the water, or dining by sunset).
