You’ll soon love this private piece of heaven on our Little Traverse Lake in beautiful Leelanau County, experiencing gorgeous sunrises and breathtaking sunsets.  This property comes with a secondary property called Lake Loft, during the months of July and August ONLY, so you have additional accomodations for your family!  Two for the price of one this summer!!!

Your reservation also includes use of dock, fishing boat, canoe and two kayaks. Our quiet inland lake is centrally located in Leelanau County on the edges of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and offers fishing, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding and plenty to do nearby. The Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail extends nearby for walking and cycling enthusiasts to enjoy. Manitou Passage Golf Club and Sugar Loaf The Old Course are only minutes away for your golfing needs.

Your accommodations are located right off of the famous scenic highway of M22 with two restaurants within walking distance for your dining enjoyment and many more close by. Just 2-3 miles in either direction are the Lake Michigan beaches of the deep blue crystal waters of Good Harbor Bay.

"The Ellsmere"

Well maintained vintage log cabin has original beams and flooring from 1880 and it's sure going to leave you with memories that you'll cherrish forever!  The main level of the log cabin features a large bedroom with a queen size bed, queen size sofa sleeper and a private half bathroom.  You'll also find pleanty of storage and a flatscreen TV.  The large living room is very spacious and can accomodate all of your guests, and has an additional sofa sleeper.  The kitchen is stocked for your cooking needs, and a washer and dryer are available onsite, as well as plenty of towels and linens for your family.  The upstairs features a large bedroom with one queen bed and two twin size beds and is a nice and spacious area.  A beautiful deck with a gas grill are provided as well as outdoor seating and water toys (kayaks and a fishing boat)!

"Lake Loft"

This very cute and well-appointed raised deck studio is ideal for couples but can sleep up to 4 comfortably (queen bed and sleeper sofa) and has 2 ceiling fans and air conditioning. The kitchen is completely furnished with all the necessities including pots, pans, dishware, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, gas range and oven, separate mini fridge and mini freezer. There is a 40” Smart TV with Spectrum cable, DVD player and WiFi (100+ mbps). The exterior deck has glass top table with umbrella for dining and propane two burner barbecue. There is also an additional covered deck with seating below and a lakeside fire pit with Adirondack style chairs. 
 

Only 9 miles down this scenic rural highway to the west you can find the bustling little village of Glen Arbor which has many locally owned and operated gift shops and eateries. The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and wooded Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive, both with spectacular drop-off views of mighty Lake Michigan below, and the lighthouse/museum of Glen Haven are just minutes away.  Another mere 9 miles to the east of your accommodations lies the historic “Fishtown” of Leland, nestled on the Leland River between Lake Leelanau and Lake Michigan. Here you can find numerous quaint, vintage shops of all varieties and dining establishments.  The Cherry Capital of the World, Traverse City, is just 30 minutes away hosting all the retail shopping and dining that can be found in any big city so you’ll never feel too far from home yet far enough away in “A Land of Delight.”

The area hosts many activities; including the Horse Show By The Bay, the National Cherry Festival and other local festivals, Michael Moore's Film Festival, arts and craft shows, concerts in the park, casino's, wineries, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes (a must), performances at the widely acclaimed Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Opera House downtown; you're certain to stay busy. Enjoy fishing charter boats, catamaran sunset cruises, parasailing (for those who are brave), jet ski rentals, hot air balloon rides, our local markets, cherry picking (and other fruits depending upon the season), and hiking trails.

Looking to golf? Perfect area for that! Fantastic golf courses surround Traverse City. Fishing? Look no further. Shopping? How about a large mall, outlet mall, and amazing local shops to find that special treasure. The dining is also fabulous, and we have amazing local chefs that prepare meals that you'll want to tell your friends and family about (as you're looking out at the reflection of the water, or dining by sunset).

Additional services that may be added would be a personal chef, daily (or every 2 days) housekeeping/turn down service, transportation/limousine, private spa services at the home, yacht rentals, and/or any additional services requested.
